2006/12 IZ

In 2006, McDonald’s included iZ—a quirky electronic tripod creature—among its Happy Meal toys, originally developed by Zizzle in 2005. Designed by Roger Shiffman (creator of Furby and Giga Pets), iZ played with sounds and music: twist the ears, press belly buttons, or tap its “flicker” head sensor, unleashing beats, lights, and goofball audio effects. The full-size Zizzle iZ functioned as a dancing speaker, accepting external audio via a jack and overlaying quirky sound effects.
