Netherlands
on
August
2,
1997,
as
a
Dutch
version
of
the
international
children's
television
network.
It
quickly
became
a
favorite
among
young
viewers
with
its
mix
of
animated
series,
adventure
shows,
and
localized
content.
Popular
programs
included
Power
Rangers,
Digimon,
Totally
Spies!,
and
Shin
Chan.
The
channel
stood
out
by
dubbing
most
shows
in
Dutch
and
adding
local
hosts,
which
helped
build
a
strong
connection
with
its
audience.
In
2001,
Fox
Kids
expanded
its
airtime
and
began
broadcasting
24/7.
In
2004,
following
The
Walt
Disney
Company’s
acquisition
of
Fox
Kids
Europe,
the
channel
was
gradually
rebranded
to
Jetix.
The
transformation
was
completed
in
2005,
signaling
the
end
of
the
Fox
Kids
name
in
the
Netherlands.
Despite
the
rebranding,
the
legacy
of
Fox
Kids
remains
strong,
remembered
fondly
by
a
generation
who
grew
up
watching
its
fun
and
action-packed
