The
Zapper:
One
Wicked
Cricket
demo
centers
on
Zapper,
an
electric
cricket
on
a
mission
to
save
his
brother.
Players
navigate
Zapper
through
six
different
worlds
with
a
total
of
20
levels,
avoiding
hazards,
collecting
eggs,
and
meeting
both
friends
and
enemies.
The
goal
is
to
ultimately
defeat
an
evil
magpie
named
Maggie,
who
is
trying
to
build
an
evil
nest.
Zapper
can
move
in
four
directions,
climb
vertical
surfaces
such
as
trees
and
walls,
and
take
out
enemies
with
his
electric
antenna.
This
demo
version
was
distributed
as
a
CD-ROM
in
McDonald's
Happy
Meals
in
the
Netherlands
in
the
spring
of
2003,
and
gave
children
a
taste
of
this
action
platform
game.
