Emperor Kuzco (Keizer Kuzco), officially titled The Emperor's New Groove, is an animated comedy film released by Walt Disney Pictures in 2000. Originally conceived as a dramatic musical titled Kingdom of the Sun, the project underwent major changes due to creative conflicts and production issues. The final version, directed by Mark Dindal, took a lighter, comedic approach. The story follows Kuzco, a selfish young Incan emperor who is transformed into a llama by his power-hungry advisor Yzma. With the help of a kind villager named Pacha, Kuzco learns humility and the value of friendship as he seeks to reclaim his throne.
